Warm Weather Notice:
Our whipped tallow balm is made without fillers or stabilizers to keep it as simple and natural as possible. Because of this, it may melt during hot summer temperatures. If melting occurs, the balm can lose its whipped texture and appear deflated, but it is still perfectly good to use! You also can whip it with a hand mixer at home, if preferred!

Melting most commonly happens after delivery, so we recommend bringing your package inside promptly when it arrives. We also suggest stocking up before the hottest months of summer.

Vanilla Planifolia Fruit/Bean Extract:

Many tallow and skincare brands list “vanilla essential oil,” in their ingredient list, but in truth, vanilla essential oil doesn’t exist—vanilla cannot be steam distilled like true essential oils. What many other brands are calling vanilla essential oil, but are actually using, is synthetic fragrance, vanilla fragrance oil, or alcohol-based extracts, which can be irritating or drying, especially on facial skin, and they hide it by inaccurately labeling it in their ingredient list as "Vanilla Essential Oil".

We use Vanilla Planifolia Fruit/Bean Extract (Vanilla CO₂ Extract), a solvent-free extraction that preserves the natural aromatic compounds of the vanilla bean while remaining exceptionally gentle. This method gives a soft, true vanilla scent without harsh additives, making it a thoughtful, skin-friendly choice for daily facial use. It is very expensive, but we want the absolute BEST option for our customers and value ingredient honesty and transparency.
